VPN region matching
Choose a VPN near your privacy profile.
If your synthetic location is in one region, pick a VPN exit region nearby. We offer guidance for ten VPN providers and may add affiliate links later.
VPN Watchdog setup
1. Pick a VPN provider
Choose a VPN with a server near the privacy region you want your phone to report.
2. Enable Android lockdown
On Android: Settings → Network & internet → VPN → your VPN → enable Always-on VPN and Block connections without VPN.
3. Watch for drops
The app roadmap includes alerts when VPN disconnects, network changes, public IP changes, or IP geolocation is outside tolerance.
Privacy recommendation: use Android's built-in VPN lockdown. If the VPN drops, Android should block traffic instead of silently falling back to carrier IP.
